Welcome to Resident Working Groups

Thanks to all OV residents who shared over 9,000 ideas, perspectives, and expectations for OV's future during Phase 1 (October 2023-October 2024)! See the significant amount of resident direction HERE. Now, during Phase 2 residents will use that feedback to help craft goals, policies and actions. All residents are welcome!

Participating in a Resident Working Group

What is needed from you? Residents in working groups must live in Oro Valley, full or part-time. They must be able to commit 4-6 hours a month to prepare and attend meetings.

What you can expect:

Four Resident Working Groups will meet at least twice a month between February and May. Each month, groups will focus on a specific topic. For example, transportation, town finances and public safety will be discussed in February.

The majority of the meetings will be hearing from residents. Very little time will be used to review the existing conditions and resident guidance linked below. Participants are expected to review this information and answer discussion questions before each meeting.
