Calling all Oro Valley residents! Whether your previously participated in resident working group meetings or are joining for the first time, your help is needed to make sure the plan represents residents. 

The next 10-year action plan will only be successful if it reflects what most residents voiced through surveys, online discussions, at events and meetings. Resident working group participants have a unique opportunity to turn the community's comments in to a refined Resident Recommended Draft of the Plan. This is the draft that will be presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Town Council and ultimately the voters in November 2026. 

What is needed from you? Residents in working groups must live in Oro Valley, full or part-time. They must be able to prepare and attend online meetings in early-mid December.  The number of meetings will depend on the discussions and participants' preparation. Thank you for your interest in participating in the Resident Working Group. Your involvement is essential to ensure that the draft plan reflects the collective values, priorities, and expectations of residents for OV's future. 

We would like your assistance in scheduling two online meetings, both set to take place from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in December. Please answer the question below by Tuesday, December 1, 2025.  

Your help is needed to make sure the plan represents residents. The next 10-year action plan will only be successful if it reflects what most residents said through surveys, online discussions, and at events. Resident working group members have a unique opportunity to help forge goals, policies, and actions that will turn the community's vision into a reality. 

Resident working groups will use the feedback from residents gathered over the last year to help forge goals, policies and actions about the following topics:

• Community, parks and recreation, arts and culture, and safety
• Housing, Development and Transportation
• Economic Development and Town Finances
• Environment, Water, and Climate

What is needed from you? Residents in working groups must live in Oro Valley, full or part-time. They must be able to commit 4-6 hours a month to prepare and attend meetings. The number of meetings will vary depending on the number of participants and topic being discussed.  Experience relating to a topic area is encouraged but not required.
