The first draft of the Plan was released in September 2025 for resident review. This release of the first draft marked an important milestone in this three-year effort, but there’s still more work to be done. The success of the plan relies on its ability to capture resident values, priorities, and expectations for Oro Valley’s future. The BIG Community Review was the initial step in ensuring that the Plan reflects the collective voice of the community.

The report includes the draft vision, guiding principles, goals, policies, and actions within the 10-year plan, along with the questions/comments received during the BIG Community Review. Minor comments and those that align with the substantial resident guidance previously received have been addressed with NEW INFORMATION indicated in all CAPS and deletions shown with strikethroughs throughout this website. Other comments require further guidance from residents to determine a path forward.

Residents will meet online from 5:30-7:30 PM in December. All residents are welcome to participate. Please read through the BIG Community Review Report prior to the meeting. The meeting agendas and RSVP are provided below.
